Navnath Leather

Navnath Leather is our shop located at number 001 in the Som Complex. We are right opposite the BMC school in Shastri Nagar, Dharavi. Being in Dharavi means we are in the heart of the leather industry in Mumbai. You can smell the leather as soon as you enter the area. Our shop is a small, practical space. We don't have air conditioning or fancy displays. It is just a place where we keep our stock and talk to people who want leather goods. The Som Complex is easy to find if you are coming from the Sion side. The school across the road makes the area very lively during the day. We have been at this location for a long time. People around here know us by name. We deal with all sorts of leather items and raw materials. It’s a lot of heavy lifting sometimes. The floor is usually covered in scraps or dust from the street. We don't mind it much. It’s part of the job. We aren't a big brand you see on TV. We are just a local business making ends meet. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down. Most of our days are spent checking the quality of the pieces we have. If you come by, you’ll likely see us sitting on a stool near the entrance. It’s a humble spot but it works for us and our customers.
