Sharp Edges & Slitters

Sharp Edges & Slitters is located at 128/4541 Tilak Nagar. We are right opposite the Tilak Nagar Railway Station. Being so close to the tracks means we hear the trains coming and going all day. You get used to the sound after a while, and it just becomes part of the day. We do sharpening and slitting work here. The machines we use for cutting are almost always running. It’s a specific kind of work and it takes a bit of focus. We get all sorts of blades and metal sheets brought in. Some days we are sharpening small hand tools, and other days we are setting up the big slitters for industrial metal coils. Tilak Nagar is a crowded spot, so there are always people moving past our door. Our shop is a bit on the small side, but we make it work. The walls have racks for different tools and edges. It’s a bit of a messy job with metal shavings on the floor, but we sweep up every evening. We’ve been at this location for a long time, and the local shops know us well. We don’t have a website or any fancy ads. We just have the sign out front. If you need something sharpened, you just bring it in. We tell you when to come back. It’s simple and it works for us. We just keep the edges sharp for everyone.
