Shakti Precision Industries

Shakti Precision Industries is located over at unit 34 in the Gala Industrial Estate. If you know Mulund West, you know Dumping Road can be a bit of a trek depending on the time of day. Our shop floor isn't quiet. There is always some machine running or someone measuring something. We focus on precision parts, which basically means we spend a lot of time looking at tiny details and making sure things fit right. It’s a practical setup here. We have our machines lined up and enough space to move around, though it gets cramped when a big order comes in. The guys on the floor have been doing this for a long time. They don't talk much while they're working, they just get the job done. It’s not a shiny corporate office with glass walls. It’s a workshop with grease on the floors and tools on the benches. We started here because the estate is a good hub for small industries. Sometimes the power flickers or the trucks block the entrance, but we manage. We aren't fancy people. We just like making sure the metal parts come out the way they are supposed to. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the evening whistle blows. We usually have a bit of a cleanup at the end of the shift so the morning crew can start fresh. It is a simple routine but it helps keep the shop organized for the next day.
