Shakti Machines

Shakti Machines is what we call this place, and we’ve been operating out of A-7B in the Synthofine Industrial Estate for quite some time now. If you know Goregaon East, you know it gets pretty packed around here, especially during the shift changes. We spend most of our mornings just getting the floors ready and checking the schedules for whatever needs fixing or making that day. It isn't a quiet office with carpets; it’s a workshop where things actually happen. The walls have seen a lot of grease over the years, and the fans never seem to move enough air when the afternoon sun hits the building. Most of us have worked together for years, so we don't need to say much to get the job done. We just show up, put on our gear, and start on the machines. There is always a pile of scrap in the corner that we mean to clear out, but work keeps piling up instead. We don't have a fancy reception area or anyone to bring you coffee in a ceramic mug. If you come by, you'll probably find us covered in some kind of oil or dust, leaning over a lathe or checking a blueprint. It's just a regular spot where people come to get their mechanical stuff sorted out without any fuss. We like it that way because it keeps things simple and we can focus on the metal in front of us.
