Shaily Engineering Plastics is located at 51 Dariya Sthan Street in the Vadgadi area. If you’ve ever been down this street, you know it’s crowded and full of energy. We’ve been here a long time, right in the thick of the local trade. Our place isn't very large, but we pack a lot into it. We work with plastics of all kinds, mostly for industrial uses. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the stock and the different sections for processing. The air usually smells a bit like warm plastic, which we don't even notice anymore. We don't have any fancy offices or glass doors. It’s a working building through and through. Most of the staff has been with us for years, so we’re more like a small family than a big corporation. We spend our time checking orders and making sure the quality is what it needs to be. It’s not the kind of place where people wear ties. We’re usually in our work clothes, moving boxes or checking on the machines. Sometimes the street outside gets so blocked up with deliveries that we have to wait a while to get anything out. That’s just life in Vadgadi. We don't try to make it sound better than it is. It's a busy, gritty job and we’re happy to be doing it. We just keep our heads down and work. That's us.
