We’ve been here at Building B-608 in Sai Srishti Apartment for quite some time now. It’s a busy spot right on LBS Marg in Bhandup West. If you know the area, you probably know the Shangriala Biscuit Company nearby; sometimes the smell of biscuits drifts over here when the wind is right. We handle a lot of different trading items every day. It gets pretty hectic around here with all the trucks and people moving about. The office isn't anything fancy, just a workspace where we get things done and keep track of our stock. Most of us have lived in Mumbai long enough to know how traffic is on this road. We open up early, get the paperwork sorted, and talk to suppliers. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking lists. People stop by because they know we are usually here until late evening. We don’t really do much in the way of fancy advertisements. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years or just walk in because they saw the sign. Being in this part of Bhandup is convenient for transport, even if the noise from the main road never really stops. We just focus on keeping the inventory moving and making sure the orders are right. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, but we manage. It’s just how things go around here. We just stay busy and keep the business running.
