Shabana Leather Works

We are tucked away in Room No. 355 of Pasco Patil House. It is a very busy spot right near the Sion Railway Station. If you walk behind the Shiv Sena Shakha on the Sion Bandra Link Road, you will eventually find us. Shabana Leather Works is basically a small workshop where we spend most of our waking hours. You can hear the trains passing by all the time, which is something you just get used to after a few weeks. The room is filled with scraps of leather and the tools we use every day. It is not the most organized place in the world, but we know exactly where everything is kept. Being so close to the station makes it easy for people to find us, though the Link Road can be a real nightmare during the evening rush hour. We have been at this for a long time. The work is physical and your hands get very tired by the end of a long shift. Pasco Patil House has a lot of history, and we are just one small part of it. We do not have a marketing team or any of those things. Most of our work comes from people who just know us or happen to walk by. It is a humble setup, but it serves us well enough. We just keep our heads down and focus on the leather. That is how it is.
