Sereno Ice Cream Parlour

We've been here in Mulund East for a good while now. It's just a small shop, number 17 in the Sai Classic building over on 13th Main Road. Most days it is just us scooping out ice cream for the local kids coming home from school or families taking a walk after their dinner. We started Sereno Ice Cream Parlour mostly because we like the neighborhood and it felt right. It gets pretty hot in Mumbai, so having a place to sit for five minutes with something cold makes sense to people around here. We don't have any fancy decorations or bright neon lights. It is just the usual flavors that everyone likes. Sometimes the freezer acts up, but we just fix it and move on. We know most of our regular customers by their names. People stop by to chat as much as they do to actually eat. It is a very simple setup. We try to keep the place clean and keep the lights on even when the electricity gets a bit spotty. If you are walking down 13th Main, you will see us sitting there. It isn't anything special, just a local spot for a treat. We try to keep enough stock so we don't run out of the popular stuff on the weekends. It gets a bit cramped when it is crowded, but nobody really seems to mind much. We have seen kids grow up coming here, and now they bring their own kids.
