Sealand Travelinks

Sealand Travelinks is tucked away in the Fort area, specifically in Parsiwada on Sahar Road. We are on the ground floor of the Kalimpong Art House inside Carlisle Chambers. It is an old building with a lot of character right opposite Dhanraj Mahal and fairly close to the Gateway of India. Working here means we get to see a lot of people passing through this historic part of the city. Our office is simple with a couple of desks and some old maps and travel posters on the walls. We spend our time helping people figure out their travel plans and getting their papers in order. It is a lot of phone calls and typing on old keyboards. The building stays relatively cool even when it is hot outside because of the thick walls. We have been here quite a while and have seen the neighborhood change around us. Sometimes we go for a walk near the Gateway during our break just to get some air. Dealing with travel can be stressful when flights are late or papers are missing but we just take it one step at a time. We are not a giant agency with hundreds of staff. It is just a few of us here making sure the bookings are correct. People come to us because they know where we are and they like that we have been in the same spot for years. It is a busy life but we enjoy the routine.
