Sea Hook Engineering Works

Our shop is down in Mazagaon, right there at Shop No. 1 Bmc on Shri Mahapursh Mandir Marg. If you know the area, it’s the C.S. No. 94 spot. It’s not a huge place, just a standard engineering workshop where we spend our days cutting metal and fixing parts for various projects. The street gets pretty crowded with people going to the temple, so it’s always lively around here. We’ve been set up in this BMC building for quite some time. It gets a bit loud with the machines running, but the neighbors are used to it by now. We mostly handle whatever engineering jobs come through the door, whether it’s a small repair or something that takes a few days of welding. I usually have tea at the stall around the corner while waiting for a part to cool down. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings, no matter how much we sweep. It’s just me and a couple of helpers working the lathes and grinders. We don't have a big office or anything, just a desk in the corner with a lot of old papers and blueprints scattered around. People find us because they know we’re always here, from early morning until the sun goes down. It’s honest work and keeps us busy enough. Mazagaon has changed a lot over the years, but this little corner feels pretty much the same as it always did.
