Saturn Properties Llp is located over in the Opera House area, specifically on Mama Parmanand Marg. If you know the neighborhood, you know it is crowded and full of old buildings. Our office is in Room No 7 on the 4th floor of the Backbay View CHSL. There isn't an elevator that works all the time, so we get our exercise climbing the stairs every morning. Girgaon is a noisy part of Mumbai, but once you are inside the office, things quiet down a little bit. We deal with property matters, which mostly means a lot of legal documents and talking to landlords or tenants. The room isn't very large. We have a few filing cabinets that are overflowing and a window that looks out over the street below. You can hear the taxis honking all day long. It is a simple setup with a couple of chairs and a wooden table that has seen better days. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a sleek lobby. We just focus on the property work that needs to be finished before the end of the day. Sometimes the power flickers, or the tea guy is late, but that is just life in an old Mumbai building. We have been in this spot for a while now and we know the neighbors well. It is a gritty, honest way to work in the heart of the city. We just take it one property file at a time and try to stay organized.
