Our office is on the ground floor of Damle Niwas, which is house number 5 in Dadar West. We are situated in the Nageshwar Industrial Estate area, specifically on Gulab Nagar Road near Jawahar Nagar. It’s a bit of a walk from the main station but not too bad once you know the turns. Being near Dhanwantari Hospital helps people find us. Inside the office, we have posters of different places and a lot of printed itineraries sitting on the desks. The phone rings a lot with people asking about bus timings or train tickets. Dadar is always moving, so we get a lot of walk-ins who are just looking for a quick price for a weekend trip. We spend most of our time looking at schedules and trying to coordinate things for families or groups. It’s not always easy because plans change and transport can be unpredictable. We have a couple of old desks and some chairs for visitors to sit while we look things up on the computer. The industrial estate around us is pretty noisy with small workshops, but we don’t mind. It feels like a real working neighborhood. We just try to get the bookings done correctly so people don't have trouble when they finally get on their way. It’s a busy life here in Dadar and there is always someone looking for a way to get out of town.
