Sankalp Design & Engineers

We are based over in Andheri, specifically at Four Bungalows on the 5th Cross. Our office is in the Holar Samaaj Building, which is number 403. It is right across the road from the Kokila Ben Ambani Hospital, so there are always lots of people and ambulances moving around outside. In our office, we deal with engineering drawings and structural designs. There are big tables where we spread out blueprints and try to figure out the best way to build something so it stays standing. It is a lot of math and double-checking figures. We have a few computers that hum all day, and there is always someone pointing at a screen and explaining a calculation. The building itself is busy with other offices too, so you meet all sorts of people in the hallway. We aren't into using big words to describe what we do. We just look at the plans, find the problems, and try to fix them before construction starts. It can be stressful when deadlines are close, but we usually manage to get through it by staying focused. We often grab a quick lunch from the stalls nearby because there is never enough time for a long break. It is just a group of engineers and designers trying to do a solid job in a very busy part of the city. We have been here long enough that the hospital across the street feels like a landmark we couldn't live without.
