Sanjhaa Chulhaa

Sanjhaa Chulhaa is located at Shop No 20 on Juhu Road in Santacruz West. We are pretty close to Raheja College, which is where most people know us from. It’s a busy stretch of road and there’s always something happening outside. We’ve been running this place for a while now. It’s a small shop, not one of those big fancy restaurants you see in other parts of the city. We keep things simple. Most of our day is spent in the kitchen or handling orders for people in the neighborhood. We get a lot of students from the college coming by, which keeps us on our toes. The space is a bit tight but we make it work. We don't have a big team of waiters or anything. It’s just us and a few helpers. We’ve been part of the Santacruz West food scene for a bit and we’ve seen a lot of places come and go. We just try to keep doing what we do. It’s a lot of hard work and the heat in the kitchen can be tough, especially in the summer. But we like seeing the same faces coming back. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Usually, people just find us because they are walking by or someone told them about us. That’s how it’s always been for us here on Juhu Road. It’s just a regular local spot for people to get some food and we like it that way. There's always something cooking and the smells are good.
