We’ve set up shop at 294 Darpan Five Road in Chembur East. It’s a decent spot, though the traffic at the five-way junction can get a bit confusing for people who aren't from around here. Our office is small, just a couple of desks and some posters of places we’ve sent people to over the years. We spend a lot of our time on the phone, checking prices and booking things while drinking way too much tea. Chembur East has a nice feel to it, a bit more relaxed than some other parts of the city, but still busy enough. We know most of the people who walk past our door every morning. Sometimes they just stick their head in to say hello or ask about the weather somewhere else. We don't have any fancy travel brochures with glossy covers, usually just printouts and notes scribbled on pads. It’s just how we operate. The fans hum overhead all day, and we try to keep the place organized, though the piles of paper usually win that battle. We've been at this for a while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change, but our little corner on Five Road stays pretty much the same. It’s a simple life, helping folks get from one place to another without making a big fuss about it. We just hope the phones keep ringing and the computers don't crash when we are in the middle of a booking.
