Samrat Engineering

We have been working out of Chamar Baug for a long time now. Our shop is at Gala No 24 in the Old Unique Industrial Estate. It is on Dr R P Road, right near the Premier main gate. Most days are pretty much the same for us. We start early when the estate is still a bit quiet and the tea stalls are just setting up. The workshop is where we spend all our time. It is not a clean place, there is always some metal dust on the floor and grease on our hands. We do a lot of engineering work here. People bring us parts that need fixing or they want us to make something new from a drawing. Sometimes the machines are very noisy and you can't hear yourself think, but that is just part of the job. We know most of the guys in the other galas around here. We help each other out with tools if someone is missing something. It is a good community in the estate. We don't have a big office with air conditioning. We just have a small desk tucked in the corner for the bills and the phone. If you are looking for Samrat Engineering, just head towards the main gate and ask around. We are usually there from morning until late evening. It is hard work but we are used to it by now. We just take one job at a time and try to get it done right.
