Samarth Engineering Works

We are over at unit 50 in the Jamanadas Industrial Estate. That is on Dr. R. P. Road in Mulund West. It is one of those typical industrial areas where you hear the sound of machines and metal all day long. Our workshop isn't very quiet, but that is just the nature of engineering work. We have a few heavy machines taking up most of the floor space, and there is usually a bit of oil on the floor near the lathe. We’ve been in this same spot for a long time. The office part is just a small corner partitioned off with some glass that has seen better days. We keep our drawings and files there, mostly piled up on the desk. Most of the guys here have been working together for years, so we don't really need to say much to get the job done. We just show up, get the machines running, and work through the list of tasks. When the weather gets humid, it can get a bit stuffy inside, so we keep the big shutters open as much as we can. It lets in some air and the sounds of the street. We don’t have a marketing person or a fancy website. People usually hear about us from other shops in the estate. We just focus on the work at hand and try to keep the machines in good shape so they don't break down unexpectedly.
