Our shop is at 3 Khot Chawl, right opposite Jaya Talkies in Borivali West. It’s a very busy spot because of the cinema. You always have people hanging around waiting for a movie to start or coming out after a show. We’re also near Parichay Sharma & Company, so there’s a lot of local foot traffic. We’ve been here for quite some time now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot. Inside the shop, we have suitcases and bags of all sizes. We try to stock everything from big trunk-style cases to small pouches for your passport. Because we are in a chawl, the space is old-fashioned and a bit tight, but it has a good feel to it. We keep our best bags out front so people can see them as they walk by to the theater. Sometimes people come in just to kill time before their movie starts, and they end up buying a new wallet or a small bag. We do a lot of repairs too. If a wheel comes off your favorite suitcase, we can usually fix it up for you. We don't use any fancy sales talk. We just show you what we have and let you decide. It’s a friendly place and we like chatting with the neighbors. Living and working in Borivali West keeps us on our toes, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s just how things go here.
