Sai Tirtha Ice Cream Parlour

We opened Sai Tirtha Ice Cream Parlour here in Lower Parel at Ganesh Peth 314 a while back. It’s just a regular spot where we keep the freezers running all day. Ganesh Peth gets quite busy, especially in the evenings when people are heading home from work. They usually stop by for a quick scoop. We spend most of our time making sure the lids are closed tight and the floor stays mostly clean from the drips. The shop isn't very big, but it fits the few tables we have inside. Sometimes the electricity flickers, but the backup usually kicks in so the ice cream doesn't melt. We see a lot of the same faces every week. It is a bit loud outside with the traffic, but inside it stays cool. We don't really do anything fancy here. It's just us serving whatever flavors we have in the tubs that day. Usually, someone is wiping down the counter or restocking the little plastic spoons. We've got the address 314 right on the door so it’s easy to find if you are walking through the market area. Sometimes kids come in after school and spend a long time looking at the menu on the wall before picking something. We just wait and let them decide. It's a simple way to spend the day in this part of Mumbai. There isn't much else to say about us, we just keep the shop open.
