Our shop is at Unit No 4 in the Apurva Industrial Estate on Makwana Road. We’re right near Marol Naka in Andheri East. It’s a good location because it’s close to a lot of other businesses we work with. Mostly, we do engineering work and handle parts that people bring in for repairs or custom jobs. The estate is always busy, and there’s usually a lot of noise from the different units. We’ve got our lathes and drills set up and that’s where we spend most of our hours. It’s not the cleanest work, but we like the technical side of it. Sometimes a customer brings in something that’s really broken and we have to figure out a way to fix it. We don't have a big reception area, so most people just walk straight into the work area to talk to us. It’s a straightforward operation. We focus on the precision of the parts and making sure the dimensions are right. Being in Andheri East means we get a lot of variety in the kind of work that comes through the door. We just keep at it, day in and day out. It’s a small team here, so everyone does a bit of everything, from the machining to the heavy lifting. We just try to get the engineering right without making it too complicated. It is just us working through the pile of jobs we have each week.
