Sahara One Media

Sahara One Media is run out of Dharmendra Kumar Singh Chal No 12, Room No 59. This is in Sion Koliwada, Mumbai. It’s a very humble setup, just a single room in a chawl, which is how many small businesses start out here. We don’t have any big signs or a fancy entrance. If you’re looking for us, you have to find the right number among all the others in the row. It gets quite crowded in this part of Sion, and there’s always something happening right outside the door. We spend our days in this small space working on various media tasks. It’s not a polished environment by any means. The walls have some marks on them and we have to be careful with where we put our equipment so we don't trip over cables. There is no air conditioning, just a couple of fans that we keep running all day to deal with the Mumbai heat. We aren't trying to pretend we are in a high-rise office building. This is where we work and where we feel comfortable. It’s a real place with real people doing their best every day. Most of the time, we are too busy to worry about how the room looks. We just want to get the work finished and move on to the next thing. It’s a tough, honest way to run a business in the city.
