Sahara One Media & Entertainment Ltd. operates from room 1103 in the Maitri Daffodile building. This is part of the Maitri Garden complex on Pokhran Road 2 in Thane West. Mumbai is a huge place, but being out here in Thane gives us a bit more breathing room, though the traffic on Pokhran Road can be a nightmare in the evenings. We work on a lot of different media projects. It involves a lot of coordinating with people over the phone and on email. The office is way up on the 11th floor, so we get a decent view of the area when we actually have time to look out the window. It’s a typical media environment, which means things are often changing at the last minute. We might be working on one thing in the morning and something totally different by the afternoon. It keeps us on our toes, I guess. We have a few computers and some editing gear spread around the room. It’s not a fancy studio you might see on TV, just a functional space where we can get things done. We’ve been at this location for some time now. Most of the people in the building are just living their lives, and we are just another office among them. We don't really do much self-promotion. We just focus on the entertainment side of things and try to keep up with the industry trends and schedules. It is a steady pace.
