Sagar Stores

Sagar Stores is situated in the Walkeshwar G I D C area within the Makarpura Industrial Estate, specifically at plot 91. Being in an industrial zone means our surroundings are mostly big factories and warehouses. We started this place to cater to the needs of the workers and the small units nearby. Our shelves are packed with all sorts of things, from basic hardware to everyday items people might need during their shift. It is a bit of a dusty environment because of all the trucks passing by on the main estate roads. We don't have any air conditioning, just a couple of wall fans that keep the air moving. The floor is concrete and has some cracks from moving heavy boxes around for so many years. It is a very practical shop. We don't spend money on fancy signs or decorations. We know our customers well; they are mostly the technicians and laborers who work in the nearby sheds. They come in for a quick chat and to buy what they need for their jobs. It is a steady routine of opening up, checking the stock, and writing down what we are running low on for the next order. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the estate, and we just wait it out with the door open. We are just a small part of this big industrial landscape. We focus on having the right items in stock so nobody has to go too far to find what they require.
