Sagar Engineers

Sagar Engineers is located over in Goregaon East at the Tirupati Udyog estate. We are on the ground floor in unit number 8, right near the I B P. It’s a standard industrial unit with high ceilings and a lot of grease on the floor. We spend our days working on different engineering parts and repairing bits of machinery. It’s mostly manual work and there is always a layer of iron dust on everything. The estate is full of other small workshops like ours, so there is a constant hum of engines and tools. We keep a small office in the corner with a desk that is usually covered in blueprints and half-drunk cups of tea. It’s not a place for a suit and tie, that’s for sure. We have a few machines that have been with us for years and they still run better than the new ones. Most of our customers are from around the neighborhood or other industrial areas nearby. They just drop off whatever needs fixing and we tell them when to come back. There isn't much to it besides the daily grind of fixing things and making sure the measurements are right. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait a bit, but we just use that time to clean the tools. It is just a straightforward engineering shop in a busy part of Goregaon. We have enough work to keep us busy and that is all we really want.
