Sadguru Pushpalay

We've been here on 4th Main Sumangali Sevashrama Road for quite a while now. Sadguru Pushpalay is basically just our small shop in Bhandup West where we spend most of our days. It gets busy in the mornings when the new stock comes in and we have to sort everything out before the sun gets too high. Usually, people from around the neighborhood stop by while they're out running errands or heading to the station. We keep the place open pretty early because that's when most people want their flowers for morning prayers or just to have something fresh at home. The street outside can get a bit loud with all the traffic heading towards the main road, but inside it’s mostly just us working through the piles of greens and stems. We try to keep things organized but sometimes it gets messy when we have a lot of orders to finish at once. It’s a simple setup, nothing fancy at all. We just have our buckets lined up and a few stools to sit on when things quiet down in the afternoon. Living and working in Bhandup has its own pace, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the people here. We know which neighbors like which types of flowers. Most of the time, it's just about getting the work done and making sure the shop looks decent for whoever walks in next. We don't do any advertising, just rely on people seeing us as they walk past the shop.
