Saad Transport

We’re located in Shop 41 on the grand floor of the Habib building in Byculla. It's directly across from Christ Church, which is a big landmark around here. The shop is small and functional. We have some benches for the staff and a main desk where we keep all the records. In the transport business, things are always changing, so we stay pretty busy with the phones. Byculla is a crowded area, and getting things in and out can be a challenge. We don't have any fancy decorations or a lobby. It’s just a place where we work. We have a lot of regular customers who have been coming to us for years. They know where to find us and they know how we operate. Sometimes we stay late when a delivery is behind schedule. The building itself is quite old and has that specific smell of old stone and dust. We keep a logbook for all the trips, and it’s usually sitting right on the front counter. It’s a humble setup, but it serves us well. We grab tea from the guy around the corner a few times a day. There isn't any corporate talk here; we just tell it like it is and get the trucks on the road. It’s a busy life, but we are used to it by now. We focus on the daily grind and making sure the paperwork matches the loads. It’s just a normal day at the shop for us and we wouldn't have it any other way.
