S T Francis Institute Of Art & Design is located at Kumar Place 2 in the Borivali area. It is a place where we keep ourselves busy with all sorts of creative projects and teaching. The hallways are usually lined with canvases and half-finished models from the students. We have been at this address for some time and the locals around Borivali know us as that busy spot where people are always carrying portfolios. It’s not a very quiet place because there is always some discussion going on about a color palette or a structural drawing. We have several rooms dedicated to different types of work, and some of the chairs have seen better days, but they are comfortable enough for long hours of sketching. The staff here is small and we all know each other well. We don't really do big formal meetings; we usually just talk over coffee in the small break area. It’s an honest place to work and learn. Sometimes the commute through Borivali traffic is a bit much, but once we get inside the institute, things feel more grounded. We have a lot of reference books stacked up in the corners and some of them are quite old. People come here because they want to pick up some skills, and we just provide the space and the time for that to happen.
