Our shop is located at Shop No 12, Gala No 12, right on the border of Malad and Kandivali West. It is a small space but we make it work with all the equipment we have squeezed in there. You will usually see a lot of different materials spread out over the main table. We spend a lot of time measuring things and trying to get the lines just right. The area outside is always crowded with people walking by, and sometimes they peek in to see what we are working on. We have been in this gala for a bit now, and we have gotten to know the other shop owners around us. It is not a very quiet place because of the machines and the street noise. Some days we stay late to finish up a project that took longer than we thought it would. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It is just a workspace where we get things done. The floor usually has bits of thread or scraps of paper on it by the end of the shift. We keep a small radio playing in the corner to keep us company while we work. It’s a practical place, and we just focus on the task in front of us, making sure the measurements are correct and the finish is okay.
