S R Engineering Work

I run S R Engineering Work over in Kandivali West. We are situated right near the Laljipada Police Chowki, which makes it very easy for people to find us even if they are not familiar with this side of Mumbai. The shop is small and usually filled with pieces of metal and various tools scattered all over the floor. It is a noisy area with the police sirens and the local traffic always moving right outside the door. I spend most of my time welding or cutting material down to size for different jobs. It is not the cleanest job in the world, but it is what I know how to do best. The humidity in Mumbai makes the workshop feel like an oven sometimes, but we keep the big industrial fan running to move the air. We do not have a website or any fancy brochures. People just see the sign above the door or hear about us from the mechanics down the street. I have been working in Kandivali for many years now. I know the local area well and the guys at the police chowki often stop by for a quick chat during their shift. The work is steady because there is always something that needs fixing in a city this big. I usually close up the shutters late in the evening when the street lights finally come on. It is a simple life of manual labor.
