S. P. K. Engineering

You can find S. P. K. Engineering over on Princess Street at number 190. If you know this area, you know how narrow and crowded the streets can get during the middle of the day. Our shop is tucked in there amongst all the other hardware and electrical stores. It is an old building, and the walls have seen better days, but it serves us well for what we do. We mostly deal with engineering parts and small components that people need for their projects or repairs. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling, filled with boxes and loose items. It can be a bit of a climb to get something from the top shelf. Usually, it is just us behind the counter looking through catalogs or searching for a specific nut or bolt that a customer is looking for. We get a lot of regulars who have been coming to Princess Street for decades. They know the shortcuts to avoid the worst of the traffic. The shop smells like oil and old paper, which is how an engineering store should smell, I think. We do not have a fancy website or anything like that. People just know we are here at number 190. We spend a lot of time organizing the stock because things have a way of getting mixed up when you are busy. It is a simple way of living, just running the shop and helping people find the parts they need for their work.
