S. M. Group

Our office is on the first floor of the John Roberts Compound. It's located right on Sewri Fort Road in Sewri East. It’s a bit of an older building, but it has some character to it. S. M. Group is just us working away in this space. The area around Sewri Fort is quite interesting, even if it gets a bit quiet in the evenings. We’ve got a lot of history in this particular spot. The compound has a few other small businesses too. We all kind of know each other and say hello. Inside, we have our desks and some old filing cabinets that have been with us for years. We aren't trying to be some huge multinational company. We are just a local group trying to do a good job. We spend a lot of time on the phone and handling various bits of business that come through. It’s not always glamorous or exciting. Some days we are just cleaning up the place or sorting through old records. We don't have any big marketing slogans or fancy advertisements. We just tell people where we are and what we do if they happen to ask. It’s a straightforward way to live and work. We like the rhythm of this place and the people around us. It’s where we feel most comfortable getting our daily tasks finished up.
