S B Link Rent A Car

We have been running S B Link Rent A Car from Shop Number 4 for quite some time. It is right there at the Amar Mehal Junc in Chembur West. If you know where the Saibaba Mandir is, you can find us easily because we are very close to it. The shop is not very big. We have a desk and a few chairs where we sit and talk to people who need a vehicle. Most of the time, the cars are parked nearby or out on the road being used. Traffic around the junction can get pretty heavy, especially in the evenings when everyone is trying to get home. We keep a simple logbook for all the bookings. It’s a lot of writing down names and checking dates. The keys hang on a board behind the counter. Sometimes we spend the morning just cleaning the interiors of the cars so they are ready for the next person. We don't have a website or anything like that, people mostly just walk in or call us. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We see all kinds of people, from families going on a trip to people who just need a car for a few hours of errands. The smell of incense from the mandir sometimes drifts into the shop when the wind is right. We just keep things moving and try to make sure everyone gets where they need to go. We have a small plastic clock on the wall that is always five minutes fast.
