Rutu Tours Travels

Our office is number 11 in Balkrishna Niwas, which is over in Matunga East on S V Road. We are right next to Velankar College, so there are always students walking by and making noise. Rutu Tours Travels is a small place where we help people figure out their trips. It isn't a big travel agency with posters everywhere. We just have a couple of desks and some chairs for people to sit while we talk about bus timings or car rentals. The office gets a bit hot in the afternoons because the sun hits the window directly. We have a small fan that helps a bit, even if it is slow. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking schedules on a screen that flickers sometimes. Matunga is a nice area but the traffic on S V Road is never ending. We have a lot of regular customers who live nearby and just drop in for a chat. We don't use any fancy booking systems, just simple notes and some basic software. It is a relaxed place, maybe too relaxed some days. We don't promise anything we can't do. If a bus is going to be late, we tell you. We just try to be honest and help people get to where they are going without too much fuss. We keep a stack of old newspapers for people to read while they wait.
