We are based in Kandivali East, specifically over in the GIDC area of Thakur Complex. If you live around here, you know it’s a packed neighborhood with a lot of families and small businesses. Our office is a modest little place where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s not a fancy corporate setup with a receptionist; usually, it’s just one of us sitting there at the desk. We’ve got a couple of plastic chairs for visitors and a cupboard full of old property files. Thakur Complex is a nice place to work because everything is within walking distance, and we know most of the security guards and shop owners in the vicinity. People usually drop by after they finish their grocery shopping or when they are out for a walk in the evening. We talk about what’s available, the current prices, and who is moving in or out. It’s a very local way of doing things. There is no polish here, just honest talk about what we can find for people. Sometimes we have to run out suddenly to show a flat, so we just pull the shutter down for a bit and leave a note on the door. It’s a small operation, but it keeps us connected to the community here in Kandivali. We've been at this same spot for quite a long while and don't plan on moving anywhere else. It is just a simple life here in the complex.
