R.M. Engineering Works, Mumbai

R.M. Engineering Works is located at R.M. House in the Sakinaka area of Mumbai. We are tucked away in the Mohammadi Jama Masjid Lane. It's a very busy and loud part of the city. There is always something going on right outside our doors. Kherani Road is constantly packed with vehicles and people moving back and forth. Inside our workshop, things are pretty straightforward and practical. We do engineering work of all kinds. We have lathes, welding machines, and quite a lot of scrap metal piled up in the corners. It’s a place built for working, not for showing off to visitors. The walls have some old calendars hanging up and plenty of oil stains from the machines. We don't have a marketing team or any kind of sales department. If someone needs a metal part repaired or something made from scratch, they usually just walk in and talk to us. we figure out what they need and get to work on it. Sometimes the power goes out in this lane and we have to wait a bit to finish, but that's just life in Sakinaka. We have a small crew of guys who have worked here for years. They know these machines better than anyone else. It’s a bit noisy and the air smells like cut metal and heavy grease. We don't mind it. It is just honest daily work for us.
