Rivaasa Fisheries Private Limited

Rivaasa Fisheries Private Limited is based out of Tardeo. We are up on the fifth floor of Kinjal Heaven, which is on Wadia Street. It's plot CS-357 if you are looking at the old records. The building is a typical Mumbai structure, a bit older but solid. Being in Mumbai-400034 means we are right in the middle of everything. We deal with fish and the seafood trade every single day. The office smells a bit like the sea sometimes because of the samples people bring by. It’s a busy area with lots of traffic outside. We don’t have a big sign out front, just the name on the door in the hallway. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to people at the docks or checking prices. The walk up to the fifth floor is okay, but we usually take the lift if it's working right. There are a lot of files about different catches and distribution routes. Sometimes it gets hectic when a big shipment comes in. We mostly just focus on getting the fish where it needs to go. It's honest work. Tardeo has changed a lot over the years, but we stay busy here. Our desks are usually covered in papers and coffee mugs. We keep a small radio playing in the corner to drown out the city horns. It is a simple life of trading fish and making sure the numbers add up at the end of the month.
