Castlerock Fisheries Ltd.

Being at 203, Dalamal Chambers, New Marine Lines, puts us right in the heart of things. Castlerock Fisheries Ltd. isn't located on a beach, but we spend all our time thinking about what comes out of the water. The office is usually a bit chilly because of the air conditioning, which is a relief from the heat outside. We have maps on the walls and a lot of logbooks that we fill out by hand. The phones are always buzzing with news from the docks or the markets. It’s a lot of coordination, making sure the fish gets from one place to another without any trouble. We don't really do big meetings with fancy slides; we just talk over the desks or in the hallway. Sometimes the lift in the building takes forever, so we end up taking the stairs. You can see a bit of the city through the windows, but mostly we are looking at our screens or checking the time. It’s a steady pace of work. We’ve been here long enough that the security guards know us by name. Some days are longer than others, especially when a big order is coming through. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs to be done, day after day, in this little corner of Marine Lines. We are just a group of people making sure things move as they should.
