Riddhi Siddhi Flowers Stall

Our stall, Riddhi Siddhi Flowers, is located at number 9, right opposite the Siddhivinayak Temple in Prabhadevi. If you’ve ever been to the temple, you know how busy it gets around here. There are people everywhere and the energy is always very high. We are right in the middle of all that noise. It’s a small stall, so we have to be very careful with how we use every inch of our space. Everything is either stacked up in crates or hanging from the roof. We spend all day outside in the elements, so we see everything that happens on the street. It gets incredibly hot in the summer and very wet during the monsoon season, but we stay open regardless of the weather. The temple brings a lot of people our way every single day. We don't do any big promotions or advertising. We just sit here and wait for people to come by on their way to pray. Most of the time we are busy making garlands or sorting through the big piles of petals. It’s a lot of repetitive work for our hands, but it’s peaceful in its own way. We’ve known the other stall owners nearby for years. We help each other out when someone needs a quick break or a cup of hot tea. It’s a tough way to make a living because you're always on your feet and dealing with the crowds, but it’s our life. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or goals. We just show up every day and do the job the best we can.
