Bhushan Manchekar runs things here at A-2 in the Central Warehousing Corporation. We are located near Ram Mandir in the Cotton Green East area of Mumbai. This part of the city is very industrial. It’s all about warehouses, trucks, and moving stuff from one place to another. You can hear the sounds of heavy vehicles all day long. Our space is basically a big warehouse unit where we manage the supplies. It is dusty and can get very hot during the summer months, but that is part of the job. We don’t have a fancy office setup with air conditioning in every corner. It’s mostly concrete floors and high ceilings. We spend our days checking manifests, looking at crates, and making sure the loading docks are clear. The location in Cotton Green is practical because it’s close to the heart of the city’s logistics network. We see a lot of different people every day, mostly drivers and delivery staff. It’s a no-nonsense environment. We don't have time for long meetings or polished presentations. We just focus on the inventory and the movement of goods. Sometimes the paperwork gets piled up, and we have to spend the evening catching up. It’s honest work that keeps us busy from morning until late at night. We’ve been at this spot for a while and know the local rhythms of the docks and the busy roads nearby.
