Our office is tucked away in Flat No 204 of the A Wing at Kukreja Residency in Chembur East. We’re right across from Satabdhi Hospital, so it’s easy to find if you’re in the area. Since we work in entertainment, there’s usually something playing on a screen somewhere in the room. It’s not a huge space, so it can feel a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time. We spend our days looking at scripts, checking out videos, and talking to people about new projects. It feels more like a home than a corporate office because of the way the flat is set up. We’ve got desks squeezed into the rooms and posters on the walls. The kitchen area is where most of the actual talking happens over cups of tea. Chembur is a busy part of Mumbai, and you can always hear the horns and the street noise from outside. Sometimes it’s hard to concentrate when it gets really loud, but we’re used to it. We aren't doing anything super glamorous despite the name; it’s mostly just emails, phone calls, and trying to keep everything on schedule. We have a lot of stacks of paper and hard drives lying around everywhere. It’s just a group of us trying to get stories told and movies made. It’s a regular job with regular people, just in a slightly different field than most of our neighbors. We like it here because it is simple and close to the local markets.
