Reliance Construction LLP is based over at Shivaji Nagar, right on the Chembur Mankhurd Link Road. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets around there. We are at number 96, and it’s a pretty functional space. We don't spend too much time in the office because construction happens out in the dirt and the sun, not behind a desk. We’ve been working in Mumbai for a long time, so we’ve seen all the ups and downs of the industry. The Link Road is always a mess with traffic, so we spend a good chunk of our day just trying to get from one site to another. We handle various building projects, mostly just making sure things are built solid and on time. There’s no corporate polish here. We talk to each other plainly and we expect the same from the people we work with. Building things in this city is a challenge with all the rules and the tight spaces, but we’ve figured out our own way of doing things. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything. We just rely on the work we’ve done to speak for us. It’s a tough trade, and sometimes things get delayed because of the rain or a late delivery, but we just keep at it. It’s about being there every day and making sure the work gets finished properly.
