We’ve been here at Plot 28 in the Shree Kuberji Textile Park for quite some time now. It is right on the Allarkha Ibrahim Patel Marg. If you know Miraj, you know the MIDC area gets pretty busy during the shift changes. Every morning, I unlock the gates and see the same faces heading into work across the street. The park is full of activity, especially with all the textile stuff going on nearby. Our space isn't huge, but it fits what we do. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we spend most of our time actually working rather than looking at them. Sometimes the trucks blocking the road make things a bit slow, but that’s just how it is around here. We have a small table in the corner where we sit for tea around eleven. It is loud because of the machinery in the neighboring units, so you have to talk a bit louder than usual. Most of the guys here live close by, so we walk or bike in. It’s a simple setup. We deal with whatever jobs come through the door that day. There is no fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet people, just us in our work clothes. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes the floor gets a bit cluttered when a big shipment arrives. It is just a regular place where people show up and do their bit before heading home.
