Our workplace is situated in the Saraf Kaskar Industrial Estate on SV Road in Jogeshwari West. Being in an industrial estate means it's never really quiet here. You can always hear the sound of machinery or trucks loading and unloading nearby. We are at B-F/20, and it’s a pretty functional space. We spend a lot of time on our feet, checking on things and making sure the orders are moving along like they should. The air is always filled with the smell of the city and the hustle of the various businesses around us. It isn't a glamorous spot, but it suits what we do. We have some desks for the paperwork and a bit of space for storage. Most of us have been working here for a few years, so we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the place. Sometimes the traffic on SV Road makes getting here a bit of a headache, especially during the monsoon when everything slows down. We keep a small kettle for tea because that’s what keeps us going during the long afternoons. It is a straightforward operation without any bells or whistles. We just focus on the daily tasks and try to keep things organized. Usually, the office is a bit messy with samples and papers, but we know where everything is. It's just a regular local business trying to keep up with the daily grind.
