Rebello Travels

We have been here in Santacruz East for quite some time now, specifically at Shop No 403 in Shyam Baug Hoshan. It is a busy spot near the Vakola Masjid, so there is always a lot of noise and people moving about. We handle all sorts of travel things here. Sometimes it's just booking a train ticket for someone who doesn't want to use the internet, or helping a family plan a trip when they have too many questions. The shop is small and can get a bit crowded when more than two people walk in at once. We spend most of our mornings on the phone or checking schedules on the old computer. It is not a fancy office with big posters. Just some desks and chairs and a lot of papers. People stop by on their way home from work to ask about fares or just to see what is new. We try to keep things simple. If a flight is cancelled, we spend the afternoon trying to fix it. That is just how it goes. Sometimes it’s stressful, especially during the holiday season when everyone wants to go somewhere at the same time. But we like the routine of it. We know the neighbors and the guys at the tea stall nearby. It feels like we are part of the street here in Santacruz. Nothing too complicated, just a travel place doing its work day after day.
