Raymer Engineering Corporation

We’ve been set up here at 7/20 in the Thakkar Industrial Estate for quite a while now. It’s right on Champsi Bhimji Road, which stays pretty busy most days. If you’ve ever been through this part of the industrial estate, you know how it is with all the trucks and people moving around. We mostly just focus on the engineering work we have in front of us. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular shop floor with machines and tools. Some of us have been here since the start and we know the neighborhood well. The estate itself has changed over the years but we’re still in the same spot. It’s dusty sometimes and the heat can get to you in the summer, but we get the job done. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People usually find us because they need something specific made or fixed. We spend our mornings getting everything ready and then it’s just steady work until we close up. There’s a tea stall nearby where we take breaks. It’s a simple way of working. We don't have a big front office or anything, just the workspace where the actual labor happens. It suits us fine because we’d rather be working with our hands than sitting behind a desk. That’s just how Raymer Engineering Corporation runs. We’re just local people doing our jobs every day. We don't need any praise, just the work.
