We are situated in Borivali East at number 2, Street No 1. It’s right in the Abdullapur Basti area and almost exactly opposite the National Park Gate. Because of the park, there are always families and tourists wandering around nearby. It makes the whole street feel quite lively, especially on Sunday mornings when everyone wants to go see the greenery. Our office is a simple room with a couple of desks and some wooden benches for people to sit on while they wait. We’ve got a big calendar on the wall that we use to mark down all the tour dates. The basti is a close-knit place, so we know most of the people living around here. It gets quite dusty because of all the traffic heading towards the park entrance, so we are constantly wiping down the desks. We spend our days arranging buses and cars for groups. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to call the providers, which is always a headache. We don't have any fancy uniforms or a big sales team. It's just us handling the bookings and making sure the drivers know where they are going. Living and working right by the National Park Gate means we see a lot of different faces every day. There is a small shrine just down the street where people stop to pray before starting their day. Sometimes the monkeys from the park come across the road and hang out on the rooftops, which is always a bit of a distraction.
