Ravi Ramchandran

I work out of Gurunanak Jai Padma Society in Goregaon West. It is a residential area, so it stays relatively quiet most of the time compared to the station side. My office is basically a room in my home that I have converted into a workspace. It has a desk, my chair, and a lot of books and files that I have collected over the years. I handle all my own calls and paperwork, so there is no one else here. It can get a bit lonely, but I like the peace and quiet. I usually start my day with a walk around the society before sitting down to work. Goregaon is a busy place, but this little corner feels safe and familiar. I don't have a fancy website or a big sign outside my door. Most people just reach me through word of mouth. I have been doing this for a long time, and I have a routine that works for me. Sometimes the internet goes down or the power cuts out, and I just take that as a sign to take a break. It is not a high-pressure corporate environment. It is just me doing my job as best as I can from where I live. I keep things simple and honest with everyone I talk to. Being my own boss means I have to be disciplined, but it also gives me the freedom to work at my own pace.
