Raunaq Travels

Raunaq Travels is situated in Shop No G 11, which is in Wing 2 of the Oyester Juhu Lalbaug building. We are located right next to the Palmgrove Hotel, which is a very big and well-known landmark in this part of town. Juhu is a nice place to work, though it gets incredibly crowded on the weekends with everyone heading down to the beach. We focus on travel arrangements and helping people get from one place to another. Our shop is not very big, but it is easy to find if you are walking anywhere near the hotel. We have seen a lot of tourists and local residents come through our doors over the many years we have been here. We do not have a mission statement or any of that fancy corporate talk that you see nowadays. We just sit down and listen to where people want to go and then try to figure out the most sensible way for them to get there. Sometimes the phones ring non-stop all morning, and other times it is quiet enough for us to have a long lunch together. Being in Wing 2 of the Oyester building keeps us connected to the neighborhood and the people living here. We know the tea stall guys and the other shopkeepers nearby quite well. It is a friendly atmosphere most of the time. The sea breeze sometimes even makes its way to our door.
