Ramesh Travels

If you walk past the bhaji market in Vile Parle West, you’ll find us right across the street in the PMC Colony area. It’s a very local spot, very lively, especially in the mornings when everyone is out getting their vegetables. We’ve been running Ramesh Travels from here for a good while. The office isn't much to look at, just a few chairs for people to sit while we look up bus timings or train tickets. It’s a small place, but it works for us. We hear the sounds of the market all day long, which is actually quite nice because it feels like being part of the neighborhood. People stop in all the time, sometimes just to ask for directions or check a price. We do a lot of bookings for trips and help people figure out their travel plans. It’s mostly just sitting at the desk, using the computer, and talking on the phone with various operators. We don’t have any fancy posters or big signs. It’s just a regular local shop where we try to help out whoever walks through the door. Sometimes it’s busy, sometimes it’s quiet, and we just sit and have tea. We know most of the people around here by name. It’s a comfortable way to work. Nothing too complicated about it. We just handle the travel stuff so people can get to where they’re going.
