Ram Baug Hall

Ram Baug Hall is located in Matunga East, right in the heart of the 400019 area. It’s an old community space that has seen plenty of weddings, birthday parties, and local meetings over the years. We aren’t a modern glass building; we are more of a traditional hall with high ceilings and fans spinning overhead. People in Matunga know us well because their families have probably hosted something here at some point. The building has that classic Mumbai feel to it, a bit worn around the edges but still solid. We have a stage at one end and enough space for quite a few chairs. It can get pretty loud during a wedding when the music starts, but the neighbors are mostly used to it. We don't provide a lot of extra services, mostly we just rent out the space and let people bring in their own decorators or caterers. It’s a practical place for folks who want something simple and local. The booking diary is usually an old physical book we keep on the desk. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or a light bulb flickers, but we get it fixed eventually. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of history, and our hall is just one small part of it. We spend our days coordinating with families and making sure the doors are unlocked on time. It’s just a regular local hall for the community.
